The first-ever Manufacturing Excellence Awards celebrated the innovators, leaders, and trailblazers making an impact in one of Ireland’s most vital sectors.

Held at the Radisson Blu Golden Hall, this black-tie gala showcased excellence across 16 categories, including sustainability, health & safety, and innovation. Notable winners included Boston Scientific for Manufacturing Team of the Year and Liz Dooley of Janssen Sciences Ireland, an inspiring role model named Woman in Manufacturing.

A driving force in Ireland’s economy, manufacturing employs 275,000 people and contributes €13.4 billion in wages—making these awards essential in spotlighting the unsung heroes of the sector.

Judge Jill Ellis commented, “The entries this year demonstrated outstanding innovation, commitment to sustainability, and a focus on staff wellbeing.”

Did you know? The sector contributes over €10 billion in corporation tax and accounts for 44% of Ireland’s exports. These numbers highlight the critical role manufacturing plays in our nation’s success.
