Philippines and India ink 18 business deals to drive cross-sector growth

Eighteen agreements worth millions have been signed between Philippine and Indian companies during President Marcos’ visit to India, spanning renewable energy, manufacturing, healthcare, IT-BPM, infrastructure and advanced technologies. Flagship projects include a waste-to-energy facility, telecom tower expansion, precision manufacturing ventures, and AI-powered training hubs. Both nations identified long-term collaboration opportunities in electric vehicles, green metals, high-tech agriculture, and cybersecurity, with talks on a preferential trade agreement also on the horizon.
