The Manufacturing Excellence Awards 2025 brought Ireland's most accomplished manufacturers together on 7 May 2025 at the Crowne Plaza, Santry, for a gala ceremony recognising exceptional achievement across innovation, operational performance, sustainability, and workforce excellence. The event marked a landmark moment for the programme, which has established itself as a peer-reviewed platform for demonstrating manufacturing leadership across the island of Ireland.

Astellas Ireland (Kerry Plant) emerged as the standout performer of the evening, securing the Overall Manufacturing Excellence Award alongside Manufacturer of the Year – Large Business and the Waste Management Award. The triple recognition highlighted an organisation excelling across multiple dimensions of manufacturing performance, from quality and sustainability to operational efficiency and innovation.

Across the wider shortlist, the 2025 awards reflected the breadth of Ireland's manufacturing capability. Boston Scientific Galway's PSPI Team took home an award, while Hygeia won in the small business category and DesignPro Automation claimed the Innovation of the Year title. Irish Distillers was recognised for its HR Achievement, and Boston Scientific Clonmel secured the Supply Chain Achievement Award, demonstrating the range of sectors and disciplines represented across the programme.

The 2025 shortlist made clear that manufacturing is evolving beyond production into a landscape defined by innovation, efficiency, and people. Finalists demonstrated that continuous process-level innovation, sustainability integration, and workforce investment are now central to competitive performance.
