The Life Sciences Industry Conference 2026 has announced three new speakers, further strengthening a programme designed to address the practical, governance, and leadership challenges of AI adoption across Ireland's life sciences manufacturing sector. The conference takes place on Thursday, 22 October 2026, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Santry.

Sinead Keogh, Director of BioPharmaChem Ireland and Head of Sectors at Ibec, brings twenty years of life sciences policy and sector development to the programme, including a decade leading Ibec's Medtech and Engineering group. Appointed Director of BioPharmaChem Ireland in 2023, she sits on the industry advisory board for SSPC and the national association boards of Cefic and EuropaBio. She holds a PhD in the physics of molecular materials and nanotechnology, combining deep scientific grounding with a career spent shaping the policy environment within which Ireland's pharmaceutical manufacturers operate.

Fergal Wall, Director of Technology, Digital and Data at NIBRT, leads the organisation's transformation agenda across digital, data, and AI, including its new Digital Academy and the digitisation of its GMP-like training and research facility. He brings over twenty years of senior technology leadership from Glanbia plc, where he served as Global Head of IT, giving him a perspective on large-scale digital transformation that spans both manufacturing operations and the training infrastructure that supports them.

Michael Brennan, Head of Global Engineering at Teleflex, leads the company's global engineering function across process development, maintenance, facilities, capital investment, and footprint management. With fourteen years in pharma across operations and new product introduction before moving into medical devices, Brennan brings a rare combination of pharmaceutical and MedTech engineering experience, and a practical understanding of what engineering leadership demands across complex, multi-site global manufacturing organisations.

Together, the three newly announced speakers reflect the conference's commitment to a programme grounded in the realities of manufacturing leadership, digital transformation, and sector-wide strategy across Ireland's life sciences industry.
