Tierco Group, the Co Derry-based manufacturing firm behind Seating Matters, has acquired Draperstown’s Sperrin Metal Products in a deal that brings over 100 staff into its growing operation.

The acquisition strengthens Tierco’s position in the industrial manufacturing sector and adds new capabilities to its portfolio. Ryan Tierney, co-founder of Seating Matters, has taken on the role of managing director at Sperrin Metal, signalling a hands-on approach to integration and future growth.

This marks another strategic step for Tierco as it builds a vertically integrated manufacturing group rooted in Northern Ireland.
